Trailhead Farm School's Story
Trailhead Farm School was founded by Courtney Eidson with a mission to serve neurodiverse students through a flexible, experiential learning model. Recognizing the positive impact of outdoor education on students’ mental and physical well-being—and the challenges posed by insufficient resources in traditional settings—Courtney created a program that integrates nature-based learning with individualized support. After learning about Heron Academy’s asynchronous learning model and its commitment to supporting diverse learning needs, Trailhead Farm School initiated a partnership to enhance its educational offerings.
